A proud graduate of the University of California, Irvine (UCI), Dr. Caviar earned her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences before continuing her education at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 2001. Since then, she has been serving the Southern California community with a commitment to excellence in patient care. Dr. Caviar stays at the forefront of dental advancements and is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Orange County Dental Society. Her goal is to promote long-term dental health while delivering high-quality care and aesthetic results.

Dr. Samonte-Mora earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of the Philippines, where she graduated with distinction, ranking fourth overall in the national dental board exam. With years of clinical experience and a commitment to gentle, high-quality care, she now serves patients in Irvine as a valued member of the Sand Canyon Dental team. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Orange County Dental Society.

A proud graduate of the University of Southern California (USC), where he earned Dean’s List honors throughout his studies, Dr. Tamer brings over 23 years of experience to his dental practice. Now serving the Irvine community, he offers compassionate, comprehensive care to patients of all ages. Coming from a family of dentists and medical professionals, Dr. Tamer developed a strong foundation in dentistry early in life, including years of surgical training under his uncle, the former head of Oral Surgery at Cairo University. He remains committed to ongoing education across all areas of dentistry.

An experienced Irvine dental team
Since 2008, Sand Canyon Dental has cared for families in Irvine and nearby Orange County cities from our office at 16100 Sand Canyon Ave, near Sand Canyon and Alton.
Our three dentists trained at Tufts University, the University of Southern California, and the University of the Philippines. All three are members of the American Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental Association (CDA), and the Orange County Dental Society (OCDS).
Our practice has also been recognized by Orange Coast Magazine in its list of dentists in Orange County. Together, our dentists and staff provide family dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, dental implants, and emergency care in one office.

Where did your dentists go to dental school?
Dr. Caviar earned her DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2001 after a biological sciences degree from UC Irvine. Dr. Samonte-Mora earned her dental degree from the University of the Philippines, graduating with distinction. Dr. Tamer studied at the University of Southern California, where he made the Dean’s List.

We are at 16100 Sand Canyon Ave, Suite 270, Irvine, CA 92618, near Sand Canyon and Alton in the same building as Hoag Medical Group. We are open 8 AM to 7 PM on Mondays and Thursdays and 8 AM to 5 PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
